New Delhi: During the Corona period, all the cricket boards of the world suffered losses and it also included the richest board BCCI. While the BCCI had to suspend the contract of the Vivo company for a year due to a dispute with China, the Dream 11 had to give the sponsorship of IPL to Dream 11, on the other hand, it has suffered another big blow. In fact, no company has shown interest in the sponsorship tender for Team India’s jersey. Meaning that there is no kit sponsor of Team India now.

Agreement ended with Nike, new companies not interested!
Explain that the agreement between Nike and BCCI, sponsor of Team India’s kit, has ended. After the end of this agreement, the BCCI had tendered for the rights of sponsorship and official sales partnership through the tender process. Nike and BCCI had a four-year agreement with a royalty of 30 crores for Rs 370 crores.

Puma, Adidas did not bid
After the deal with Nike, German sporting goods and footwear manufacturer Puma was at the forefront of the Indian cricket team’s purchase of kit sponsorship rights. It was being said that Addidas was also going to join this race. But the date of the tender ended but no one came forward to sponsor the kit of Team India. Meaning that if Team India plays a match today, there will be no other mark on its jersey other than the BCCI logo.

BCCI may lose more than 100 crores!
According to market experts, hardly any other company like Nike will give a big deal to BCCI. Nike and BCCI had royalties of 370 crores and 30 crores, but according to experts, now the BCCI is likely to get deals ranging from 200 to 250 crores only. If this happens, the BCCI will incur a loss of more than Rs 100 crore directly.
