New Delhi: Technology giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the country’s largest company by market valuation Reliance Industries have topped the list of the country’s most valuable brands. TCS has topped the list of 50 most valuable Indian brands with a brand value of Rs 1.09 lakh crore, according to a ranking released by global brand consultancy firm Interbrand.

Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Ltd stood second with a brand value of Rs 65,320 crore. Reliance Group’s telecom and digital arm Jio is also in the top five with Rs 49,027 crore. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Interbrand said the Best Indian Brands Report has been a definitive insight into the country’s brand landscape since its launch in 2014. This time the combined valuation of all the companies included in the list has reached the figure of $ 100 billion (Rs 8.3 lakh crore).
Jio is in fifth place
This is 167% more than the previous decade. Information technology company Infosys is in the third position with a brand value of ₹53,323 crore. HDFC is in the fourth position, while Jio is in the fifth position. Other brands in the top 10 are Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Mahindra, State Bank of India, and ICICI.
