New Delhi: Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland, and West Indies have qualified for the first round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia this year. Zimbabwe beat the Netherlands to make it to Group B.
Let us tell you that, for the first time, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is going to be held in Australia. The tournament will be played from 16 October to 13 November 2022 in 7 cities. In which Geelong and Hobart will host the first round. Now the group and schedule for this tournament have been finalized.
Group A: Namibia, Sri Lanka, UAE, and the Netherlands
Group B: Ireland, Scotland, West Indies, and Zimbabwe
Group 1: Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Group A winner and Group B runner up
Group 2: India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Group A runner-up, and Group B winner
