T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in UAE and Oman

New Delhi: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 (ICC T20 World Cup) has been officially announced for shifting from India to UAE. The ICC has shared this information among the people today i.e. on June 29. According to the ICC, now the T20 World Cup will now be played in UAE and Oman. The tournament will start on October 17 and will be played till November 14. At the same time, the event will be hosted by BCCI.

Actually, this important decision has been taken due to the increasing coronavirus in India. The tournament will be played on four grounds only. Under this, matches will be played at Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Stadium, and Oman Cricket Academy Ground. It is to be known that last year the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia was postponed due to Corona. Now it will be in Australia in 2022.

T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in UAE and Oman

Round 1 of the T20 World Cup will be played in Oman. Round 1 will see 12 matches between eight teams, out of which four will qualify for the Super 12. Sri Lanka, Ireland, Bangladesh, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea will play in Round 1. At the same time, there will be 30 matches in Super-12, which will start from October 24. These matches will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The last two semi-finals and final matches will be played.
