New Delhi: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced the launch of its popular SUV Land Rover Defender in India on 15 October. The company has started booking for this model. JLR India Chairman and Managing Director Rohit Suri said in a statement, “This is a moment of pride for us.
After landing in the Indian market in 2009, we are bringing the defender here for the first time. ” He said that a big digital event would be organized to launch this vehicle in the Indian market. Currently, various models of the Land Rover portfolio such as Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport, Discovery, and Range Rover are available in the Indian market. JLR sells these vehicles through 27 dealerships in 24 cities in India.
