Washington: One of the five people who died in the tourist submarine Titan was a Pakistani businessman. Earlier in 2019 too, he had faced such a horrifying scene which had put his life in similar danger. Pakistani-British tycoon Prince Dawood and his son Sulaiman were among five people aboard the submarine that went missing near the wreckage of the Titanic. It is being told that this submarine fell victim to a deadly explosion in the depths of the sea.

Rescue teams from the US and Canada completed the search on Thursday when they found a pile of debris near the crash site. The family of the British-Pakistani father and son is in deep mourning. It also came to light that earlier also this Pakistani tycoon had faced a fatal accident when he was on board a flight. Christine Daoud, the wife of Prince Daoud, recalls the incident in 2019 when the matter came to her life on a dangerous flight.

The scene was narrated by the wife in a blog
A 2019 blog in which Christine describes how a flight changed her life after the plane flipped several times in a severe storm. In a post titled ‘Living with anxiety’, which was published on the website Next Step Now, Christine says, ‘I should have understood when they canceled our flight and put us on the next flight. We should have understood this sign at the same time and should have gone back home and had a good breakfast, but we did not do any such thing and this flight became the most frightening flight of my life.

He explained in detail how his plane had fallen three to five meters while jumping, which was very unusual. It is written in the blog post that, from the beginning to the flight of the plane, everything was unusual, only the sign of the seatbelt was warning. The plane suddenly started going down. Later I read somewhere that during turbulence the plane never goes below three to five meters, that situation made my heart ache. There was a hue and cry throughout the cabin, which turned into a long silence followed by whispers.

Told God to save me, and I will quit smoking
She further writes that the plane dived again and started hitching right and left. I felt like a grain of sand in a sack, or like a boxer who had lost badly – and was getting punches everywhere. I gripped the arms of my chair as if it would make a difference. She further says that then I made a promise to God, ‘Get me to the safe ground, and I will never touch a cigarette after today.’

However, turbulence kept happening in the plane and the pilots were announcing that they were trying to land the plane from another angle. She says that sometimes right, sometimes left, then my head hit the window. Then there was an announcement, it was the captain of the ship telling us that he would try to land the plane from a different angle. The engine roared once again and we reached altitude once again. She wrote, ‘The thrust applied to slow down the plane gave me a jolt as well and I came back to reality. We were saved. But I still could not move. We had reached the ground safely, but still, I felt as if there was a noose around my neck.

Life did not give me a second chance
The small submarine, in which Prince Dawood was also aboard, went missing on Sunday when it went down to the sea to see the wreckage of Titanic. Which is two miles below sea level and about 400 miles from the Newfoundland coast of Canada. He lost contact with his ship in less than two hours. Ships and aircraft from the US and Canadian Coast Guards, as well as a robot sent from France, searched 10,000 square miles of surface water for the ship. This area was equal in size to the US state of Massachusetts. The Coast Guard announced on Thursday that an underwater robot had discovered the wreckage area.
