Meanwhile, the sad news is coming that Hollywood hero Ray Stevenson, who played an important role in the film, is no more with us. He died on the last day at the age of 58. Ray has been dressed as his character in the film and along with this the filmmaker also shared a heart-touching post in which it is written. Rajamouli writes, ‘This is shocking… can’t believe this news… Ray brought a lot of energy and vivacity with him on the set. It was total fun working with him. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace. The team of RRR has also paid tribute to him and wrote, you will always be in our hearts.
Ray played the role of ‘Scott Buxton’ in the film RRR. This was the first Indian film of his career. Ray was born on 25 May 1964 in Northern Ireland. His father was a pilot and at the age of 8, he shifted to England with the family. After playing the villain in ‘RRR’, Stevenson’s last completed film was ‘Accident Man: Hitman Holiday’ starring Scott Adkins.

He has also voiced Gar Saxon in the animated Star Wars series ‘The Clone Wars’ and ‘Rebels’ and was set to join Rosario Dawson in Disney Plus’ upcoming ‘The Mandalorian spinoff ‘Ashoka’.
