Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha left the course of fashion designing to make her Bollywood debut with Solid Punch. The actress, who plays Salman Khan’s fiery girlfriend Rajjo in the film Dabangg, has come a long way and has proved herself by acting brilliantly in both action and drama films.
However, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha revealed that when Salman Khan was first offered the film ‘Dabangg’ to the actress, she was not really keen on it. The veteran Bollywood star on his birthday told that the actress wanted to focus on her career in fashion designing.
Shatrughan Sinha was asked what advice he gave Sonakshi about acting after appearing in films? In response, Shatrughan said that his first suggestion to Sonakshi was to consider Salman Khan’s proposal and to do that film.
Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan further said, ‘I never differentiated between my sons and daughters. Salman Khan offered him as the lead character in the film Dabangg, as the first offer with tremendous respect. I remember that Sonakshi was not interested in this film when she was taking a course in fashion designing, but I asked her to consider it. I told him to prove himself better than the best and be different from the rest.
