Chandigarh: Four people have been arrested for allegedly hoisting ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ over a flag at Chaupal in a village in Kalanwali area of Sirsa district. A Haryana Police spokesperson said on Wednesday that the incident occurred on 15 August. He said that four mischievous people have been arrested for trying to disturb the peace, brotherhood, and communal harmony.
The police spokesman said that two people carried out the incident and two people made a video of it from their phones and posted it on social media. During interrogation, one of the accused confessed to the crime of being involved in the incident. The spokesman said that a case has been registered at Kalanwali police station under related sections and investigation is on.
