New Delhi: The Patiala Court has upheld the 2-year sentence of singer Daler Mehndi. Daler Mehndi was sentenced to two years in prison in a 15-year-old human trafficking case. A hearing on this sentence was held in Patiala Court today. Let us tell you that during the hearing in the case, the court convicted Daler Mehndi. Then after some time, the sentence was also pronounced. This is a case of pigeon pelting in the year 2003. The case was decided after 15 years.

Daler Mehndi was taken into custody by the police soon after the verdict. In 2003, the Sadar police station had registered a case against Daler Mehndi, his brother Shamsher Mehndi Dhyan Singh, and Bulbul Mehta on the complaint of Bakshish Singh, a resident of Bal Beda village, on charges of taking 20 lakh rupees by cheating in the name of sending them abroad.
