Amritsar: Four sharpshooters involved in the murder of Congress leader and famous singer Sidhu Musewala have been killed by the Punjab Police in an encounter. Three police personnel have also been injured in this encounter on the Attari border. Punjab Police DGP Pramod Ban gave this information. One AK 47 has also been recovered from the accused.
The encounter ends search operation continues
Giving information, Ban said, “Today there was heavy firing, Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh, 2 gangsters involved in Sidhu Moose Wala case were killed. We have recovered one AK47 and one pistol. 3 police officers have also suffered minor injuries.”
He said, “We were keeping a watch on the accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and our task force noticed some movement in the area. We acted on that. Our forensic team is at the spot for further investigation.”

The Punjab Police had received information that two gangsters involved in the murder of Sidhu Musewala were hiding in a village located near the Attari border in the Amritsar district. After this, all the policemen reached the spot in a hurry. More than 300 policemen had cordoned off the entire area. At the same time, after the end of the encounter, the police are conducting a search operation.
