
Mandi: Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced to include Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in the syllabus of the Himachal Board. It will be included in the syllabus of class IX. This was announced by the State Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur in Mandi on Sunday.
Govind Singh said that it has been decided to teach the Gita with the aim of making the students familiar with their culture and giving them moral strength. Geeta will be taught in the schools in Sanskrit and Hindi language. He said that now the Sanskrit subject will also be taught in the schools of the state from class III onwards.

Govind Singh Thakur informed that 23 thousand of teachers have been recruited by the state government during its tenure of four and a half years. At the same time, eight thousand teachers of Hindi and Sanskrit were given the designation of TGT.
After this, Govind Singh Thakur also resolved 119 complaints and problems related to various departments in the Jan Manch program. 63 complaints were received in Pre Jan Manch, out of which 62 were disposed of. At the same time, instructions have been given for early diagnosis of 1 case related to NHAI. Out of 47 cases related to various demands received during this period, 20 were settled and 27 problems were sent to the concerned departments for disposal.
