
Prague: A horrific shooting spree took place at Charles University in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, when a student armed with a gun opened fire at the philosophy department building, killing 15 people and wounding 30 others. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. local time when the student entered the building located at the Jan Palach intersection and started shooting randomly at the staff and students.
