Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has praised the culture, food, and people of Arunachal Pradesh. The actor has become the brand ambassador of the ’50 years of Arunachal Pradesh’ festival. He said that he would try his best to highlight the uniqueness of Arunachal Pradesh in front of the people outside. He launched a media campaign for the month-long festival at Mochuka in the state’s Shiomi district on Monday. The celebrations will be held from January 20 to February 20 next year, as Arunachal Pradesh comes into existence as a union territory.

An official release issued by the government on Tuesday said that Arunachal Pradesh, once called the North Eastern Frontier Agency (NEFA), came into existence as a union territory on January 20, 1972.
