Samsung has launched its new foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 2 this year. This phone is an upgraded variant of last year’s Galaxy Fold. Now the company is preparing to launch Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. This phone can come with three displays and a sliding keyboard. Samsung is working on several folding phones and this will be the company’s third-generation foldable smartphone. A patent has recently come out, indicating that the company is going to go two steps further in the design of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3.
When unfolded it will look like a tablet
According to a report by Let’s Go Digital, it had filed a patent for the design of this phone last year. The patent was published on October 1. As per the patent, the phone has a full screen display on the cover (front). The Galaxy Z Fold 3, on the other hand, has two displays on the inside, which are tablet-sized when opened. The display of the phone has a punch hole design. It can also be given a unique sliding keyboard, which will be present inside the display. This keyboard will slide to the right of a display on the edge. This will be a full QWERT keyboard.
You will find two different hinges
This Samsung device will have two different hinges. This will split the phone into three parts. That is, it can also be used as a large tablet. The phone can also be used as a mini laptop. According to a report by LetsGoDigital, it will be a double foldable smartphone and will be quite thin when folded.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
The company has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, a better and more advanced version of the first fold. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a 7.6-inch Full HD + Foldable Dynamic AMOLED Infiniti O display with a refreshed red of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 22.5: 18. The resolution of the display will be 1768/2208 pixels. The phone will have a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinitive Flash display with a resolution of 816/2260 pixels and an aspect ratio of 25: 9.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a 4500mAh battery, which is more powerful than the Galaxy Fold (4380mah). The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is Samsung’s third foldable smartphone. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor, which will come with 12GB and 256GB storage options.
