New Delhi: Korea’s major smartphone maker Samsung is now emphasizing on Made in India. Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G aluminum version, adding another product to its wider 4G smartwatch range. It is Samsung’s first smartwatch to be made in India and with its launch, Samsung now has the largest and diversified 4G watch portfolio in the country. Samsung’s 4G smartwatch range now includes 9 colors, 3 sizes, and two special design templates.
Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business of Samsung India said that the aluminum version of Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G is now our cheapest 4G watch. It is also the first smart watch to be made in India. Along with this, we have started manufacturing a full range of 18 smartwatches in India under the ‘Make for India’ program. It costs Rs 28,490 and will be available from July 11 at retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and major online portals.
