Salman Khan: court orders appearance in deer poaching case

Jodhpur: In the case of Black Deer Hunting and Arms Act, the film actor Salman Khan has been ordered by the District and Sessions Court of Jodhpur to appear on September 28. Actually, the hearing in this case was going on on Monday. The hearing of the black deer poaching case on Salman’s petition and the Arms Act case on the petition of the state government could not be completed and Salman himself was ordered to appear before the court on the next hearing date.

Salman had earlier appealed for an amnesty, which was accepted. Now Salman will have to appear in Jodhpur court on 28 September. In such a situation, Salman comes or appeals for forgiveness, it is not yet decided.

What is the matter
In 1998, Salman Khan was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s film Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur. During this time, he went hunting for the film along with fellow actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and Neelam. It is alleged that he hunted protected black deer there. The hunting dates were stated to be 27 September, 28 September, 1 October, and 2 October. Fellow actors were accused of abetting Salman for hunting. Salman Khan has been convicted in Kankani deer hunting. Apart from Salman, all the other accused were acquitted by the court.
Who complained to the police

People of Vishnoi society complained to the police in this matter. After this both the forest department and police became active. Then three cases were registered against Salman and his associates. Apart from Salman, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were also accused in this, but all of them were acquitted by the court.
