Russia intensifies shelling in residential areas

Earlier on Monday morning, Russia targeted residential buildings in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. Although people had already been advised to go to safer places including bunkers, still some people are feared to be trapped there.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian military claims to have killed two high-ranking Russian officers. It is claimed that Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Safronov, commander of the 61st Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, and Lieutenant Colonel Denis Glebov, deputy commander of the 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, have been killed. At the same time, according to Ukraine, many Russian tanks have also been destroyed.

Putin warns Zelensky
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Saturday that Ukraine’s statehood was in danger. He compared Western sanctions on Russia to a declaration of war. Russian troops continue to surround Ukrainian cities and the number of Ukrainian citizens forced to flee the country has risen to more than 1.4 million.

Putin is constantly blaming the Ukrainian leadership entirely for this. He said that if they keep doing this, they are putting Ukraine’s national status in danger in the future. If this happens, then it will completely depend on their discretion.
