Mumbai: Actress Rhea Chakraborty (Rhea Chakraborty) arrested in a narcotics case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, bail application in a sessions court in Mumbai (Mumbai) on Wednesday. Filed, which will be heard on Thursday. Riya was arrested by the NCB.
On Tuesday, the magistrate court refused to grant him bail. Riya has since tried for bail a second time. The petition has been filed by her lawyer Satish Maneshinde and the 28-year-old actress has claimed to be “innocent”. The petition states that he has not committed any crime and he has been implicated in the case.
The court will hear his bail plea on Thursday. Riya was arrested by the NCB on Tuesday after three days of questioning. Shortly after his arrest, he was sent to judicial custody by a local court till 22 September. Riya was taken to the Byculla Jail from the NCB office in South Mumbai on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande said that the other accused arrested by the NCB have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the sessions court. These include the actress’s brother Shauvik Chakraborty, Sushant’s manager Samuel Miranda, his personal staff Dipesh Sawant and drug traffickers Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar. He said that Shouvik and Sawant have applied for bail and their petitions will also be heard on Thursday.
