Mumbai: Maharashtra government has decided to extend the restrictions like Lockdown in Maharashtra by 14 days. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that according to the orders issued in the past, the lockdown is coming to an end on June 1. But in view of the situation of Corona, it has been decided to extend the restrictions like lockdown by 14 days.
He said that orders will be issued soon by the state government in this regard. Rajesh Tope said the situation of corona infection in the state is now under control. We want to increase the lockdown in those districts where the positivity rate is high or where there is no problem with the availability of beds. Depending on the situation, we can relax restrictions on some places. Health Minister Tope said that the recovery rate in the state has reached 93 percent. This was discussed in the cabinet meeting held yesterday (Thursday).
The number of infected patients is decreasing in the state. Let us know that 21,273 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra on Thursday, raising the total cases of infection in the state to 56,72,180, while 425 patients died due to this epidemic in the state. The number of those who lost their lives increased to 92,225.
According to the Health Department, so far 5672180 people have been infected with a corona in the state, and out of these 5276203 people have been cured. So far 92225 patients have died. At present, 301041 patients are under treatment.
