New Delhi: Bollywood actor is all set to reach the audience with Akshay Kumar’s film. In an innovative move in film promotion, the trailer of Akshay’s new film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was shown to the audience during India vs West Indies cricket match series. This is not the first time that cinema has included cricket in its promo strategy. Although Aanand L Rai’s reasoning for doing so is quite sweet. Let us tell you that the trailer of the film is already out. However, Aanand L Rai wanted the trailer to be shown throughout India vs West Indies cricket match as it is the match that is being telecasted on Doordarshan.
Doordarshan is the only broadcast that has maximum reach in rural parts of India and everywhere. Thus this integration has been done in an effort to reach out to the audience at every nook and corner of India. Raksha Bandhan starring Bhumi Pednekar, Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Sood, Seema Pahwa, Saadia Khatib, Abhilash Thapliyal, Deepika Khanna, Smriti Shrikant, and Sahajmin Kaur is all set to release on 11th August 2022.
