Hyderabad: Actor Prabhas says his upcoming film “Radhe Shyam” is a love story with many interesting aspects and he is hopeful that the film, which releases next year, will be liked by the audience. Made in multiple languages, the film also stars Pooja Hegde and is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
The story of this film is set in the 1970s and Vikramaditya (Prabhas) falls in love with Prerna (Hegde). Prabhas said that Radhe Shyam is a love story but there are many other things in it as well. There are many twists and turns and he hopes that it will be liked by the audience.
The ‘Baahubali’ actor was speaking at an event organized for the trailer launch of the film at Ramoji Film City. He praised director Kumar, saying that despite many hurdles, his determination and passion remained in his mind for ‘Radhe Shyam’.
Kumar said, “I would like to express my gratitude to those who have remained with me for the last four years. I am thankful to Manoj sir (cinematographer) because it was you who used to excite us every day. Pooja, you were born for this film. Prabhas: You are not a star and a superstar but a universe. You taught me many things.”
Hegde said that the entire team worked hard for this film. It took a long time to make this film. He said that for almost four years, everyone has shed their blood and sweat for this film. Hope the audience will like it. The film will release on January 14 on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and Pongal.
