Amritsar: In Punjab, Amritsar (Amritsar) city and Tarn Taran, 32 people died after consuming spurious liquor. This information was given by the police. Police said that they are investigating the case. He said that all those who lost their lives belonged to families living below the poverty line. One of the dead has been identified as Kuldeep Singh (24). Meanwhile, a four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police to investigate the case.
Giving information about the case, DGP Dinkar Gupta said that the first five deaths took place on the night of 29th June at Tarsika, a police station in Amritsar, from Muchhal and Tangra. On the evening of 30 July, two more people were killed in suspicious circumstances in Muchhal, while one person was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
