Melbourne: Priyanka Radhakrishnan has become the first member of Indian Origin to become a minister in New Zealand. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday added five new ministers to her cabinet, including Priyanka.

Born in India, Priyanka (41) studied in Singapore till school and then she went to New Zealand for further studies. He spoke out for women, victims of domestic violence, and migrant workers, whose voices were often unheard of. She was first elected to Parliament in September 2017 on behalf of the Labor Party.
