London: The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has isolated himself after coming in contact with an infected MP. Downing Street reports that Ashfield MP Lee Anderson has been found to be infected with the coronavirus. The prime minister had recently held a 35-minute meeting with some lawmakers, including Anderson.
A spokesman for the prime minister said on Sunday that the “National Health Service (NHS) Test and Trace” had informed Johnson that he had come in contact with a person who had been found to be infected and should isolate himself. The spokesperson said, “The Prime Minister will abide by the rules and he has gone into seclusion. He will continue to work from Downing Street on other issues, including the coronavirus. ” “The prime minister is healthy and has no symptoms of Covid-19,” the spokesman said. Earlier, Johnson had spent three nights in the intensive care unit of St. Thomas Hospital after being found infected in April. According to the ‘National Health Service (NHS) Test and Trace’ rule, they will be isolated for 10 days, which will expire on November 26.
