
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday attended the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. According to ANI, the state funeral of Shinzo Abe is going on in Tokyo. During this, Modi looked very emotional. Apart from PM Modi, many world leaders attended Abe’s funeral. It also features US Vice President Kamala Harris. Apart from this, representatives of more than 100 countries, including more than 20 heads of state and government, have reached Japan.
Significantly, on July 8, Abe was attacked during a speech in the city of Nara. Shinzo Abe was shot at around 11:30 a.m. local time in Nara, east of Osaka, while he was delivering an election campaign speech on a street. He was taken to the hospital where Abe was declared brought dead at 5:03 pm.
Before attending the state funeral of Shinzo Abe, PM Modi met his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida. During this, there was a discussion between the two leaders regarding India-Japan relations. During the bilateral meeting with Kishida, PM Modi said, “I am confident that under your leadership, India-Japan relations will deepen and scale new heights and we will be able to play an appropriate role in solving the problems of the world.”

During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also remembered former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe. He told Fumio Kishida that we are meeting today in this hour of sorrow. The last time I came I had a long conversation with Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister of Japan. Whole India is remembering Shinzo Abe.
