New Delhi: India’s indigenous vaccine maker Zydus Cadila’s ZyCoV-D price has been fixed. According to the information received, Rs 265 has been fixed per dose. It is to be known that the Cadila vaccine will be administered to children between the ages of 12 and 18. At the same time, the Government of India has also placed a supply order of one crore doses to the Ahmedabad-based company.

Have to take three doses
In Ahmedabad’s Zydus Cadila’s vaccine ZyCoV-D, the company has fixed three doses. That is, children will have to take three doses of the vaccine. At the same time, the dose can be taken in both arms. At the same time, the dose of the vaccine will be given from a needle-free applicator, not a syringe. At the same time, the company has also launched an applicator named Pharmajet, which will cost Rs 93 per applicator.

First vaccine for children
Zydus Cadila’s ZyCoV-D vaccine is the first vaccine approved by the Indian drug regulator, to be administered to children above 12 years of age. Three doses of ZyCoV-D will be given at an interval of 28 days. On the one hand, while the price has been fixed, on the other hand, the government has also ordered one crore doses to the company.
