The tweet also said, “India has officially legalized bitcoin. The government has officially bought 500 BTC and is distributing it to all citizens of the country. Hurry up India…. The future has come today!”
But then the tweet got deleted in barely 3 minutes. But then at 2.14 pm came the second tweet, which was a copy of the first one. This tweet was also deleted soon after. After this, the PMO tweeted and informed that Modi’s account was hacked for a while. Along with this, it was instructed by the PMO that any tweet made during this period should be completely ‘ignored’.
The central government engaged in an investigation

To investigate this, the government is now using the latest technology. According to sources, CERT-IN has been deployed in this work and it is also trying its best to find out the source of hacking.
At the same time, according to sources, the central government is also trying to know who was behind this hacking. For this, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team ie the CERT-IN team has been deployed by the government. This team is also using the latest technology to get to the bottom of the hacking.
2 tweets from PM Modi’s Twitter handle
Significantly, hackers also made two tweets from PM Modi’s Twitter handle. The first tweet came late Saturday at 2:11 pm, which said, “India has officially legalized bitcoin. The government has bought 500 BTC and is distributing it among the common people. Hurry up India… the future has come today!” But this tweet remained on PM Modi’s Twitter handle for two minutes and then got deleted.
But after this, there was a second tweet in a span of just 3 minutes i.e. at 2:14 pm, in which the words of the earlier tweet were repeated. But within a few minutes, that too was immediately deleted again. However, by then the screenshots of these tweets made on Twitter from PM Modi’s Twitter account had gone viral everywhere.
The handle of PM Modi’s personal website was ever hacked
It is to be known that in the year 2020, the official Twitter account of PM Modi’s personal website (@narendramodi_in) was also hacked in a similar manner. During that time, there was also talk of donating to Corona’s Relief Fund through bitcoin. However, even during that time, PM Modi’s account was secured by immediately deleting the hackers’ tweet.
