New Delhi: Today i.e. on Friday morning, Heeraba Modi, the mother of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away. She was 100 years old. As per information, Hiraba breathed his last at 3:30 am at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center in Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi was taken for the last rites in Gandhinagar. In fact, he was admitted to the hospital late on Tuesday night due to difficulty in breathing. He also had a complaint of phlegm.
At the same time, PM Modi reached Ahmedabad at 7:45 am today. From there he directly went to brother Pankaj Modi’s house in Raisan village of Gandhinagar. His mother’s body is kept here. Hirata’s last journey will begin in a short while and will reach the crematorium at Sector 30.
Today, PM Modi informed about the demise of his mother Hiraba by tweeting. Today i.e. on Friday morning at 6:20 am, he wrote – “The glorious century rests at the feet of God. Be informed that, on December 4, PM Modi met his mother Heeraben in Gandhinagar during the voting for the Gujarat elections. During this, he had taken blessings by touching the feet of the mother and also had tea sitting with her.
