Kuno National Park: PM Narendra Modi turned 72 today (September 17). Modi received eight cheetahs from Namibia on his birthday. He was then released at the Coono National Park. On this occasion, the PM also took pictures of cheetahs with a camera.

‘Cheetah returned to Indian soil’
PM Modi said, ‘Decades ago, the age-old link of biodiversity which was broken, had become extinct, today we have got a chance to reconnect it. Today the cheetah has returned to the soil of India. And I would also say that along with these cheetahs, the nature-loving consciousness of India has also been awakened with full force. I also thank our friendly country Namibia and the government there for whose cooperation the cheetahs have returned to Indian soil after decades.

We will have to wait a few months
The PM said, ‘The countrymen will have to show patience, wait for a few months to see the cheetahs released in the Kuno National Park. Today these cheetahs have come as guests, unaware of this area. For these cheetahs to be able to make Kuno National Park their home, we will have to give these cheetahs a few months’ time too. Following international guidelines, India is trying its best to settle these cheetahs. We must not allow our efforts to fail.

Cheetahs were brought into the camera by PM Modi
PM Modi released eight cheetahs from Namibia by rotating the liver at the Kuno National Park. Then he started taking his pictures with the camera. Eight cheetahs will still be in the Quarantine Center. Cheetahs have been arranged for their food.
