Alaska: On Friday, two small planes crashed into the air in Alaska, killing all seven people on board. The accident occurred a few kilometers away from Soldotna, Alaska. It is reported that those killed include Gary Knope, a state assembly member of President Donald Trump’s Republican Party.

According to the information received, Gary Knopf was alone in one plane. The second plane was carrying four tourists from South Carolina, including a guide from Kansas and a pilot from Saltanna. According to army personnel, all the seven victims except one person were declared dead on arrival at the hospital, upon reaching the hospital the person was also declared dead. Crash debris fell on a highway, which was closed for some time.
Reports said quoting local officials that one of the aircraft has been identified as De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver and the other as Piper-P12. Both these aircraft were single engine.
It is being told that Nop, 67 years old, was a member of the Rajya Sabha bipartisan majority. Many colleagues have mourned his death in this incident. Other victims were identified as pilot Gregory Bell, 67, David Rogers, 40, Caleb Hulsey, 26, Heather Hulsey, 25, McKay Hulsey, 24, and Christine Wright, 23.
However, till now it has not been clear whose fault was caused by whose fault. At the time of the accident, the weather was clear. There was also a big difference in the time taken by both the planes. Visibility was also over 10 km at the time of the incident. Due to whose fault it is now being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
A similar accident occurred in Alaska in May 2019. The accident took place near Ketikan, Alaska, in which six people were killed and ten people were saved.
