New Delhi: Electronics company, Philips has introduced an LED bulb that lasts for 50 years. The long life of this bulb is not only the specialty of this bulb, but this bulb will save 40% on electricity, which will make a big difference in the electricity bill. LED bulbs use less electricity than traditional bulbs, plus the light from LED bulbs produces less heat. These bulbs last for years. Some energy-efficient bulbs save up to 90% more electricity than conventional bulbs. These bulbs have a lifespan of 25,000 hours or more. It does not use toxic substances like mercury and does not harm the environment. The company claims that the Philips bulb will provide all these benefits to users.
Power savings of up to 40%
Signify, the parent company of Philips has launched these bulbs in the LED light category. The company claims that these bulbs will save more electricity than the previous model. Compared to other LED bulbs, Philips ultra-efficient bulbs will save up to 40% more electricity, the company also explained. The company said that the new ultra-efficient LED bulbs can be used for up to 50 years and will not deteriorate. Ultra-efficient bulbs last up to three times longer than other Philips bulbs.
Available in soft white and day-light variants
This bulb will last for years while also helping to prevent waste. These new Philips bulbs are currently only available for purchase from Walmart’s website. A 60-watt A19 bulb costs around Rs.820. If you buy two bulbs at a time, they will be available for Rs.1,390. These bulbs are available in soft white and day-light variants.
