
New Delhi: Where on one hand Turkey and Syria in the early hours of Monday, a powerful earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes mixed everything in these countries. Thousands of buildings collapsed in this earthquake and now the survivors are being searched in the debris.
This earthquake was so strong that its tremors were also felt in some other countries including Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, UK, Iraq, and Georgia. About 3000 buildings were destroyed in Turkey due to the tremors. News agency AFP reported that at least 16,000 people were killed and thousands were injured. This number is expected to increase further.
Will such an earthquake happen in India too?
At the same time, there is bad news for India, which is helping our friend country in such difficult times. In fact, a Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets has now predicted a similar powerful earthquake in India regarding this severe earthquake in Turkey. According to him, this earthquake will start in Afghanistan and then pass through Pakistan and end in the Indian Ocean of India.
Significantly, Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets had predicted on February 3, 2023. Hoogerbeats, who works for the Netherlands-based organization Solar System Geometry Survey (SSGS), tweeted, ‘Sooner or later a ~M 7.5 earthquake will hit this region (south-central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon).’

In fact, SSGS describes itself on Twitter as a research institute for monitoring the geometry between celestial bodies related to seismic activity. Monday’s earthquake was felt as far away as Cairo. The earthquake was centered north of the city of Gaziantep, about 90 kilometers (60 mi) from the Syrian border.
Be aware that Turkey is currently one of the most active earthquake zones in the world. In 1999, the Dews area was the most affected by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake.
