
New Delhi: After withdrawing from the Google Play Store for a few hours, the mobile wallet application Paytm Android App is back on the platform once again. Paytm tweeted and gave information about it on Friday evening. Earlier, the Google Play Store had removed the Paytm app from its platform on the charge of gambling (gamblers) through it. The Google Play Store said that it does not support the gambling app and that Paytm was removed for violating its gambling-related policies. A few hours ago, Paytm assured the users that they were working on this problem with Google. The money lying in the Paytm Wallet of users is completely safe.

Paytm said that we recently launched ‘Paytm Cricket League’ on our consumer app. The game was meant to engage customers with passion for cricket and win cashbacks. Under this game, users receive players’ stickers for every transaction. After collecting it, they get cashback.
Paytm said that they were informed by Google on Friday afternoon that this app is being removed from the Play Store on the charge of violating certain rules related to gambling. Due to this, the Paytm Android app was unlisted from the Google Play Store.
Cashback component temporarily removed from Paytm app
Paytm further wrote in the blog that it is completely clear that this activity on Paytm is as per rules. We temporarily removed the cashback component from the app so that Google’s policies were not violated.
