New Delhi: Due to Coronavirus, there has been a big change in functioning and lifestyle. In the Corona era, economic activities have been exempted from many terms and conditions. Many precautionary rules have also been added by Indian Railways in the operation of trains. The operation of trains was temporarily stopped during the lockdown. Since then, many regular trains were not running on the tracks. After this, special trains are being run from May 1. Now the PSU IRCTC (IRCTC) under the Ministry of Railways has decided to run Tejas Train. Please tell that Tejas Express trains will run from October 17.

The thermal screening will be done before boarding
In view of the demand of passengers, the Tejas train will run between Lucknow-New Delhi and Ahmedabad-Mumbai from October 17. In these two corporate trains, passengers will be given a Covid-19 security kit. This will be the first time that the Covid-19 safety kit will be given to passengers on trains. The Covid-19 security kit will have a bottle of hand sanitizer, a mask, a face shield, and a pair of gloves. Every passenger will be examined before starting the journey. For this, passengers will have to undergo thermal screening so that no corona positive can travel.

Passengers must also follow these rules
According to IRCTC, all passengers must follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) associated with the Kovid-19 protocol. Passengers will not be able to exchange their seats with anyone. Wearing face cover or face mask will be mandatory for all passengers and staff. All passengers will have to download the Arogya Setu App. They have to show their status in the app when the train staff demands it. For this, all the necessary information will be given to the passengers during the ticket booking.

Special emphasis will be laid on cleanliness in Tejas trains
In the country’s first private train, toilets will be cleaned and disinfected around the pantry car and from time to time. The staff appointed for this will also disinfect the passengers. All those places will continue to be disinfected, where there will be scope to touch the passengers. Service trays and trolleys will also be disinfected. In view of the Covid-19 epidemic, IRCTC has given special training to the staff of Tejas trains so that passengers can get a safe and convenient travel experience in changed circumstances.
