New Delhi: Coronavirus has become uncontrollable in the country, thousands of new cases are coming out every day. Meanwhile, preparations for the monsoon session of Parliament have also started. According to information received from the sources, the Cabinet Committee on Central Parliamentary Affairs has suggested running the monsoon session of Parliament from September 14 to October 1. The rule made in view of this round coronavirus will be strictly followed.
According to sources, there will be a total of 18 meetings this time in the monsoon session. In such a situation, preparations for both the houses of Parliament have been intensified. It is known that the Lok Sabha session will be held for the first time after the lockdown.
Special sitting
In view of the corona virus, special arrangements will be made for the sitting of MPs in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. According to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, the MPs will be seen sitting in the Parliament Gallery and Chamber against the existing seats. According to information received from the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, 60 members will sit in the Chamber, 51 in the Gallery and the remaining 132 in the Chamber. A similar system will be implemented in the Lok Sabha. Such arrangements will be made for the first time after 1952.
The big screen will be installed
For the first time, MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will sit together, in view of which the work of uniting the two houses has started. As MPs continue to see action, for the first time big screens are being installed, sanitization will be done in the gallery-chamber. Also, cable will be provided to connect both the houses. With this, a seating arrangement will be made like cabin, so that the same distance remains.
