Actor Pankaj Tripathi, known for his outstanding performance, became emotional during a virtual panel conference with the winners of the ‘Critics’ Choice Awards’. Pankaj, who won the Best Supporting Actor award for the film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, became emotional by remembering his reason for coming to the industry during his vote of thanks.
Pankaj said, “In Bihar, there is a river called Gandak which flows from Nepal. It is also called Narayani. To the north of the river, there is a district called Champaran and towards the south, there is a district called Gopalganj. In 1988-99, I read an article that a boy from Champaran entered the cinema as an actor. A boy read this news in a small district situated south of that river, that boy is me and that actor is none other than Manoj Bhaiya (Manoj Bajpayee ). I thought that if someone from that side of the river can become an actor then why don’t I? That news has settled in my heart. Today it is two honors for me to win this award and the other with Manoj Bhaiya To sit. “
