Lahore: A Pakistani woman who made a video on Tik Tok has alleged that her clothes were torn and thrown into the air by hundreds of people on the occasion of Independence Day here. Also, people beat him up. This has been said in media reports on Tuesday.
According to the news of Dawn newspaper, the complainant has said in the FIR lodged at Laurie Adda police station that she and six of her accomplices were making a video near Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day Saturday when around 300 to 400 people attacked them.
She said in the complaint, “The crowd was huge and people were moving towards us. People were pushing and pulling me so much that they tore my clothes. Many people tried to help me but the crowd was huge and they kept tossing me in the air.”
On Tuesday, the Lahore Police registered a case against hundreds of people in connection with the incident at Greater Iqbal Park in the city. The report said that the woman’s ring and earrings, the mobile phone of one of her associates, identity card, and Rs 15,000 cash were snatched.
“Unknown people attacked us,” the complainant said. Lahore Inspector General of Police (Operations) Sajid Kiyani has ordered the Superintendent of Police to take immediate legal action against the suspects in the incident.
