
New Delhi: SulliDeals app creator and mastermind Omkareshwar Thakur has been arrested from Indore. Delhi Police has given this information. He was a member of a trade group on Twitter created to troll Muslim women. DCP KPS Malhotra of Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operation in Delhi Police Special Cell said that Omkareshwar Thakur, the app creator of Sully Deals, has been apprehended from Indore. The accused Omkareshwar Thakur is a resident of New York City Township, Indore. The accused has done BCA from IPS Academy, a big institute in Indore.
The interrogation of the accused continues
According to the report, during preliminary interrogation, he had admitted that he was a member of a trade group on Twitter and intended to defame and troll women of a particular religion. For this purpose, he developed a code on GitHub. GitHub was accessible to all members of the group. He shared the link to the app on his Twitter account. Images of Muslim women were uploaded by the members of the group and their character was mutilated with the intention of defaming them. The interrogation of the accused is on.

More names may come
Delhi Police has brought the accused Omkareshwar to Delhi with them. It is believed that after questioning Omkareshwar Thakur, the app creator and mastermind of SulliDeals, more names can come to the fore. Omkareshwar Thakur, 25, confessed to the police that he had created the Sully Deals app on GitHub in July 2021. Photos of several Muslim women were uploaded for auction through the app without their consent. Omkareshwar Thakur told during interrogation that he had joined a group called TradeMahasabha on Twitter in January 2020 using the Twitter handle @gangescion. After this, the members discussed and hatched a conspiracy to troll Muslim women. After the uproar, all the people had deleted all their social media footprints.
