New Delhi: Even after three years, the world is still lighter than Corona’s new cases. As soon as the matter cools down, Corona rises again. Now again Corona has started showing its havoc. The new variant of Omicron, which is also being called the stealth variant or BA.2 variant, is currently spreading rapidly all over the world. At present, this stealth variant is spreading the most in China, which gives corona to the world. In such a situation, the question is arising whether this stealth variant will trouble India too. Some people believe that there may have been a lot of new cases of corona in India at present, but it is like the silence before the storm.

BA.2 is the fifth ever variant of Omicron, which was first identified in South Africa in November last year. The World Health Organization says that the BA.2 variant will not stop only in China, but it will spread to other countries as well. Although Indian scientists claim that the stealth variant will not cause that much trouble in India.

75 percent affected by BA.2 in the third wave in India
Dr. Narendra Kumar Arora, head of the Covid-19 task group, told India Today that the likelihood of the spread of BA.2 variants in India is very low. He told that during the third wave in India, the number of people infected with BA.2 due to corona was more than 75 percent. This is the reason why the apprehension of the fourth wave by June 22 in the study of IIT Kanpur is not correct.

New variants like tree branches
Dr. Rajeev Jayadevan, head of the Research Cell of the IMA-Kochi, told that this variant is exactly the same as the branches of a tree. Just as new branches of the tree keep coming out, in the same way, new variants of corona will also keep coming. He said that this variant is spreading more in China because there has been less vaccination among the elderly. The elderly in China have not been vaccinated due to widespread misinformation.
