New Delhi: The country on Saturday witnessed the worst case of Covid-19 cases ever. In the last 24 hours 14,516 positive cases have been reported in the country. According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases in India has reached 4 lakh 566 (Coronavirus in India). For the last nine days, there has been a steady increase in cases and more than 10,000 cases have been reported in the country every day. According to the Health Ministry data, a total of 12,948 people have lost their lives due to the virus, with 375 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On the 11th consecutive day, the number of cured people (2,13,830) was higher than the active cases (1,68,269). Please tell that about half of the patients who have been infected have been cured. Maharashtra remains the most affected country in the country by Corona. The total number of cases there has crossed 1,24,331, which includes 5,894 deaths. Maharashtra alone has recorded 3,827 fresh cases of Kovid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Tamil Nadu is the second most affected state. There were a total of 54,449 cases with 2,115 new cases. A total of 53,116 cases have been reported in the national capital. There has been a record increase of 3,137 cases in Delhi in the last 24 hours. So far 2,035 deaths have taken place here. In states with more than 10,000 cases, Gujarat had 26,141 cases and 1,618 deaths. After this, 15,785 cases have been reported in Uttar Pradesh, 14,156 in Rajasthan, 11,582 in Madhya Pradesh and 13,090 cases in West Bengal.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the total number of Kovid-19 cases globally has exceeded 86 million, while the death toll was close to 4.6 million. According to the latest update from the university’s Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE), the total number of cases as of Saturday morning was 86,39,023, while the number of deaths has increased to 4,59,437. According to CSSE, America is the most corona-affected country in the world with 22,19,976 cases and 1,19,099 deaths. Brazil ranks second with 1,032,913 infections and 48,954 deaths.
