New Delhi: Nubia Z50 Ultra smartphone has been launched. The new phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The company has introduced many special features in the hardware of the smartphone. The phone sports a notch-free AMOLED display with ultra-slim bezels and an under-display camera (UDC) for selfies and video calls. The company is offering a 64-megapixel triple rear camera in the phone. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The standard variant of Nubia Z50 Ultra has been introduced by the company in black and gray color options.
The phone’s 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 47,200), 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 50,600) and 12GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 55,500). At the same time, customers will be able to buy its high-end 16GB + 1TB model for 5,999 yuan (about Rs 70,800).
Meanwhile, the price of the Nubia Z50 Ultra Starry Night Collector’s Edition has also been revealed. The collector’s edition of the phone will be available for 4,999 yuan (about Rs 59,000). It comes with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The company introduced the special edition of the phone in blue color and the device is inspired by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh’s famous Starry Night painting. All variants of the Z50 Ultra are available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from March 14.
Specifications of Nubia Z50 Ultra
Nubia’s latest smartphone has a 6.8-inch OLED display, which does not have any notch or punch-hole. The phone provides a full-screen experience. The display has Full HD+ (1,116×2,480 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.
64-megapixel camera
For photography, it has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera, a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera with OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Ring LED flash and multi-channel spectral sensor found in the phone help the rear cameras.
Fast charging support
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For connectivity, features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an IR blaster, an X-axis linear motor, and a USB Type-C port have been provided. The Nubia Z50 Ultra phone runs on MyOS 13 based on Android 13 and has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
