New Delhi: According to the Central Government guidelines in view of Coronavirus Crisis, special arrangements have been made for the safety of passengers arriving by international flight at Delhi Airport. According to Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), international passengers at Delhi Airport can now avail Corona’s RT-PCR test facility. Delhi Airport has become the first airport in the country to provide this facility to international travelers.

Fee will be charged for the corona test at the airport
International passengers can get a corona test done at Delhi Airport for 5 thousand rupees. The waiting room charge is also included in this fee, as it may take at least 6 hours for the report to arrive. According to Dial (DIAL), it will take 4 to 6 hours to report the sample collected in the lab. Till then, passengers can either wait in the waiting room or stay in a hotel. Earlier on August 2, the Union Health Ministry had said that even if the report of an international traveler in the RT-PCR test conducted 96 hours before the trip is negative, it will be sent in quarantine.
