New Delhi: After Twitter and Facebook’s parent company Meta, now Zomato, a platform that provides online delivery of food and beverages, has also taken the route of retrenchment. Sources told Moneycontrol that the company started laying off employees this week. The company has made a plan to reduce the expenditure and wants to come in profit soon.

People with information about the layoffs in Zomato said that at least 100 employees have been laid off. These include employees from functions such as product, tech, catalog, and marketing.
