New Delhi: Nothing, a tech company founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is all set to launch its third smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a, in India on March 5, 2024. The device will be the first in the company’s portfolio to be manufactured in India, as confirmed by Pei himself on X (formerly Twitter). The Nothing Phone 2a will be a budget-friendly offering, aimed at competing with the likes of Redmi Note Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro+ in the Indian market. Display and Design
The Nothing Phone 2a will sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display will support a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. The device will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The design of the Nothing Phone 2a will be similar to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 2, which was launched in December 2023. The device will have a sleek and minimalist look, with a glass back and a metal frame. The back panel will also feature the company’s signature glyph lighting interface, which can be customized to display different patterns and colors. The device will be available in two color options: Black and White.
Camera and Battery
