Mahakal Bhasmarti Darshan

Ujjain: Jyotirlinga Baba Mahakala’s darshan of Bhasmarti will have to wait for some more time for the devotees. Collector Ashish Singh has said that at present, the ban on this instruction will remain intact. Will be considered after one and a half months. However, the Collector has instructed the temple administration to start the Ujjain Darshan bus service.

The Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple has been banned for 10 months due to corona infection. Devotees are demanding that Bhasmarti Darshan be resumed when there is a sharp decrease in Corona cases in the country. Devotees say that theaters in the country were instructed to start at full capacity, then what is the problem in allowing Bhasmarti darshan to the temple committee? The collector says that devotees from India and abroad sit together in a limited place during Bhasmarti. About 1700 devotees are allowed in the first Bhasmarti.

So the ban remains
Collector Singh said that Nandi Hall and Ganesh Mandapam are in the form of closed halls. In such a situation, there is a plan to allow darshan even after further improvement in the transition. A permission system will be introduced after one and a half months, given the conditions. Entering the sanctum sanctorum, permission to offer flower offerings to God, and the decision to start Annakshetra will also be accompanied by the introduction of Bhasmarti darshan. Here, the Collector has issued orders to start the Ujjain Darshan bus operated by the temple committee. The temple administration will resume bus service in a day or two. This will help the native and foreign devotees to visit Ujjain.
