New Delhi: Smartphone company Nokia has launched its new device Nokia G42 5G in Europe. The most special thing about this smartphone is that users can repair it themselves. This is the company’s first user-repairable smartphone

The Nokia G42 comes with Quickfix repairability, allowing users to easily replace broken screens, damaged charging ports, and dead batteries on their own. iFixit also provides affordable replacement parts and step-by-step repair guides.

The price of this smartphone is around Rs 20,635 and it comes in Purple color. The rear panel of this device, which comes with a Quickfix design, is made of up to 65 percent recycled material. At the same time, due to the layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 above the display in the smartphone, it is protected.

Nokia G42 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset which comes with 6GB of RAM and 5GB of virtual RAM support. The smartphone has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

This smartphone runs on Android 13 operating system and the company has promised to provide OS updates to the smartphone for 2 years. Nokia G42 5G has a triple rear camera with 50MP main camera, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro camera. The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
