New Delhi: One of the biggest prestigious award ceremonies in the cinema world is Oscar, whose telecast now has very little time left. The Academy Awards (Oscars) will be held on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA. This time Oscar is also very special for India because the South Indian blockbuster film ‘RRR’ is also included in the Oscar race. In such a situation, all Indians are eagerly waiting for it. Along with this, there is another change that is going to happen for the first time in 62 years.
Irrespective of the award show, the red carpet has a lot of importance in it. Stars are seen sizzling on this red carpet. That’s why the red carpet is also associated with glamour, but do you know that for the first time after 62 years, the color of the carpet will not be red at the Oscars? Why is this happening, what is the reason, we tell you all this.
The carpet will be of this color, not red
It is every star’s dream to walk on the red carpet of the Oscar Awards ceremony, but this time the color of the red carpet will be changed. The red carpet has been laid every time since 1961 i.e. 33rd Oscar Awards. But now it has been decided to change this tradition. In fact, instead of red, the Academy of Motion Pictures, which hosts the Oscars, has chosen a bright white color ie ‘champagne’ this time.
The Oscar award ceremony will be held on March 12
The Oscar Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on March 12, while in India the ceremony will be seen from the morning of the 13th. Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel launched this carpet at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Deepika Padukone is the award presenter
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be the award presenter at the 95th Oscar Awards show. Along with them, Emily Blunt, Samuel L Jackson, Jennifer Connelly, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B Jordan, Janelle Monae, Zoe Saldana and Melissa McCarthy will also present the award to the winners.
