Delhi: If you are planning to get a car in Delhi next year, think once again. According to the Parking Area Management Rule, if you do not have a parking space, you will not be able to take a car from next year. Under the new parking area management plan, only those people who have parking space in their homes or have valid parking within a radius of around one km. According to the new parking rules, people cannot buy new vehicles even after arranging for parking in colonies which already have a fixed limit or more. Parking rules of all areas of Delhi have been asked to be made in the next four months.

The Supreme Court had asked the MCD to prepare a model parking plan in residential colonies. South MCD drafted this plan for Lajpat Nagar, North MCD Kamala Nagar and East MCD Krishna Nagar and made it available to the court. Now the court has asked to prepare and provide parking area management plan (PAMP) of entire Delhi in the next four months on this model. The purpose of the new parking area plan is that there should be at least vehicles on the road, so that there is no problem of jam during peak hours, so the new parking plan has many restrictions on the purchase of new vehicles.
Now you have to provide proof of parking space
According to sources, if someone wants to buy a new car, then they have to provide proof of parking space. Also, we have to tell how many vehicles they already have. If there is no parking space or valid parking within one km in and around one’s house, then it will be difficult for him to buy a new car. On this, Rwa says that the government should work for parking first, and then such bombs boil over the public.
The special thing is that in the colonies which have parking space, but according to the new rules, there is already enough vehicles, then in this case also the people cannot buy a new car. For example, under the Parking Area Management Plan in Lajpat Nagar, space has been taken out for 5,000 vehicles. Now if someone living there wants to buy a new car, then he cannot buy it. Unless the number of those 5 thousand trains is reduced or no train meets the time limit of 10 or 15 years. The new parking plan will be only for the colonies of A, B, C, and D categories of Delhi.
