
Agra: Business running around the Taj Mahal located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh has been banned. In this case, Agra District Magistrate, Navneet Singh Chahal said that the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court was that all commercial activities within 500 meters of the peripheral limits of the Taj Mahal should be closed. For this, we have given 3 months’ time to the shopkeepers.
Navneet Singh Chahal further said that if they do not follow this order within 3 months, then we will take action. During this, if any other guidance is received from the Supreme Court, then we will take action accordingly.
Let us tell you that on September 26, the Supreme Court ordered the closure of all commercial activities within a radius of 500 meters from the wall of the Taj Mahal. For compliance, ADA gave notice to the establishments and gave an ultimatum to close the business by 17 October. This period is over. Once again the shopkeepers have been given three months’ time.

Significantly, on September 26, on the petition of the Taj Mahal Western Gate Market Association, the Supreme Court ordered the closure of all commercial activities within a radius of 500 meters from the wall of the Taj Mahal. For compliance which ADA first fixed the limit of 500 meters area and then gave an ultimatum to close the business by giving notice to the commercial establishments operating there.
